New Zealand - dramatic landscape

Along with my fascination with the New Zealand Bush, I became interested in the way New Zealand was formed by violent seismic activity - Volcanoes, earthquakes great rivers, along with erosion. My great friend Prue who lives in Wanaka, in the South Island of New Zealand, is married to the great helecopter pilot and deer farmer, Sir Tim Wallis, and we were treated to wonderful flights all over the South Island, which started a life-long interest in the structure of the land.  Many of the images are abstract, but have strong connections to the formation of the land.
